The movie under review is a combo of three short stories. Each story is independent of each other and has a streak of contemporary thought. Story 1 is of a widow Flory Mendonca ( Renuka Shahane) who is sharing her past with a prospective buyer Vilas Naik( Pulkit Samrat) for her property. She's a ' smooth talker'.She has to safeguard a secret though. Her intent is not known until the ' unexpected twist' unfolds. Renuka shones in her wily character.Pulkit is uncomfortable in his off beat cum subdued role.A Rajkummar Rao would have been an apt replacement. Many windows live unsecured lives with no support system. They have to safeguard their financials ,howsoever small they are. Story 2 is about a garment embroider guy Shankar( Sharman Joshi) whose not commited to go the full distance with her love Varsha( Masumeh Makhija). The uncertainty forces her to marry a drunkard .Her life has become a hell. Many women are placed in real life under such situations. How they cope is a challenge for them. Masumeh is highly under rated. She draws the viewers empathy and competently plays a difficult and complex role. Story 3 is akin what a section of media and populace call ' love jihad'.Here parents of Malini ( Aisha Ahmed) and Suhail( Ankit Rath) oppose the alliance .What next? The young lovers are believable. All in all Arjun Mukerjee has presented the stories in a simple and effective manner in his directoriall debut. Money well spent in this experimental venture.
