‘The Deuce’ by HBO, is all set to beck with its second season. And according to latest reports, Hollywood actor James Franco, who has been accused of sexual harassment, is still a part of the drama series as a star and executive producer. Reports reveal that five women came forward to the Los Angeles Times in January with allegations of sexual misconduct against the actor during the show.
However, when looked into the matter by HBO after the allegations were made, they found that there were no such complaints or concerns raised about Franco’s behaviour on Deuce. In the drama series, Franco plays the character of twin brothers on the show. And he has also stepped into the shoes of director for the show.
Meanwhile, a source in the know said, “There is no alternate plan for storylines should Franco be forced out. Franco said during an appearance on CBS’ “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” in January that many of the accusations levelled against him are “not accurate”. Moreover, Simon had earlier revealed that Franco’s conduct had been “entirely professional” on the set of Deuce.
