Anushka Sharma is coming back with the third film from her production houseClean Slate Films and this one looks pretty freaky! Her latest venture as a ghost in Pari is one we are really looking forward to after all the screamers and the trailer. It finally seems like Bollywood's getting a good horror film and so far the film has managed to give us goosebumps with a scary looking Anushka turning into our worst nightmares. But wondered what some other actresses from Bollywood would look like as the scary ghost in Pari instead of Anushka Sharma? We assure you they would look pretty freaky too. Check them out.Priyanka Chopra - She would make one hell of pouty ghost.Vidya Balan - Doesn't she look like she's made for the role?Kangana Ranaut - Convincing much?Deepika Padukone - This one is scarier than her ghost avatar in Om Shanti Om.Alia Bhatt - We love her more in her happy go lucky avatar please!Parineeti Chopra - Can we get her back as the friendly ghost from Golmaal Again?

Bollywood is a powerhouse of talent. Not just the actors, but the off-camera crew members are also extremely talented and almost as famous as those we see on-screen. Take for example theplayback singers. We love to hear them sing and in some of the songs, we feel that no one could have given a better rendition to the song than them. But unfortunately, many a time, our favourite singers are pitched for a song, even sing it but are dropped just at the last moment for numerous reasons! Here are 4 Bollywood singers whose songs where dropped at the last moment and another singer sang it:1. Jag Ghoomeya- SultanThe Sultan song was originally to be sung by Arijit Singh. He had even recorded for the song but on Salman Khan's insistence, the song was dropped and it was again recorded by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Arijit and Salman had some minor miscommunication at an award show, which left Salman miffed at the singer. He had also pleaded to Salman to keep his song in the film, but Bhai did not budge from his decision!2. Tu Hi Hai- Dear ZindagiThe original was sung by Ali Zafar, who was also a part of the film on-screen. But due to an ongoing controversy about Pakistani actors in Bollywood, the makers re-recorded the song with Arijit Singh. The original was retained in the film, while the Arijit Singh version was used for promotions!3. Jhoom Barabar Jhoom title trackThe Jhoom Barabar Jhoom title track was originally to be sung by Daler Mehendi. But controversy ensued after he found out that his version of the song was not in the film or the album. The song was sung by Shankar Mahadevan, and the trio told Daler Mehndi that Amitabh Bachchan did not want his version of the song. He however cleared that he does not believe this and held the music directors guilty!4. Khaike Paan Banaras Wala- Don: The Chase BeginsThe song was to be sung by Sonu Nigam, but it was finally sung by Udit Narayan!

The director that gave us Pyaar Ka Punchnama 1 and 2 and Akaash Vani, Luv Ranjan’s fourth venture is all set to hit the screens this Friday. While the town is abuzz with the comparisons between this film and Pyaar Ka Punchnama 1 and 2 as the director and most of the cast is also same, here is why we think Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety will be the film with which the team is going break out of the mold finally. The Wedding AngleApart from Akash Vaani, Luv Ranjan has exclusively dealt with the woes of bachelorhood. None of the characters in either of the Pyaar Ka Punchnamas has marriage on their minds. This one, however, almost revolves around marriage as the central plot. Thus it is obvious that treatment of the narrative would be completely different. Also, coming from Luv Ranjan, we are also sure that this will brings out some of the most brutally honest aspects of holy matrimony in the most comical and entertaining way.The Family AngleThis one again is a far cry from what Luv Ranjan has done so far. Apart from Supriya’s parents in the second installment of Pyaar Ka Punchnanma, parents have been completely absent from the narrative his films. But this one will involve parents into the plot and given its set against the premise of a wedding, they will have a lot to contribute to the plot. With parental idiosyncrasies blending with the wit of Luv Ranjan, it would be an interesting watch for sure. The Chemistry AngleThis one might actually be one factor that might not go down well with the audience. No matter how much we crib about Luv Ranjan working with the same set of actors in every film, we have also come to expect to see these familiar faces in his films, especially Kartik Aryan and Nushrat Bharucha lead romantic pair. In this one, however, although Kartik Aryan and Nushrat Bharucha are there in the lead roles, but Nushrat is paired opposite Sunny Nirjar instead of Kartik. Thus, instead of their ‘babu’ brand of romance, we will be witnessing them trying to one-up each other in a sort of game of wits, which might or not be liked by the audience who are used to seeing the two as a romantic couple. The Musical AngleWhen the first installment of Pyaar Ka Punchnama released, no one expected it to be a hit. But even after the roaring success it received, the songs of both the installments were not very popular. But with this film, Luv Ranjan seems to have put more thought, effort and even money in music. Certain songs of the films that have been released are already becoming pretty popular which is a first for any Luv Ranjan film, which is not really known for popular music. The Seriousness AngleLuv Ranjan films have always been tagged as being grossly unfair to women. Some have even called his films misogynistic. The director has, however, always replied to such comments by re-instating that it is only meant for fun and comedy and for intellectualizing. His films usually do not have an iota of seriousness and maintain the fun vibe throughout. This one, although slated to be a comedy caper, with the involvement of weddings, parents and a tussle between Kartik and Nushrat might just be a little higher on the seriousness scale.

Whenever there is a discussion about bold films in Bollywood our mind has a tendency to veer towards films that were sexually explicit. Although it is a fact that in our society where sex is a topic always shrouded in mystery, tackling sexual explicitness is indeed a bold challenge for any filmmakers. However, boldness on screen is not always served on bed covered in white satin sheets, or reflected through steamy lip locks and make out scenes. Instead, there are also films that had nothing or little to do with sex but were bold, nay, explosive to say the least. From politically sensitive topics to challenging the notions of religion, these films were bold and fearless in their content, but had nothing to do with sex.FiraaqThis film painted a poignant picture of one of the most controversial incidents of Indian history, the 2002 Gujarat riots. The movie did not have steamy sex scenes but made the audience and censor board uncomfortable with the way it reflected the brutality of communal riots that people from both the communities in the aftermath of the riots.AandhiWhen it comes to Indian political figures, its best to not to dig too deep. Although the makers maintained throughout that Suchitra Sen’s character in the film was a figment of the imagination, the similarities that it shared with the erstwhile Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was simply too much to be a coincidence. Given the political ramification it could have, the film was surely an extremely bold attempt on the part of makersOMG- Oh My GodIn a climate where religious sentiments are hurt more than the romantic feelings of a teenager and the end result of it can even prove to be fatal, making a movie that dismantles the popular notions of all major religions in the country as we know it was one heck of a risky and bold venture. But the film did not only manage to stay true to its point but also entertained the audience with a fresh new concept.AmuThere are certain incidents in Indian history that nobody really wants to re-live but indeed says a lot about us as a country. One such incident that is almost a sure shot way of stirring troubles is even lightly touching upon the Sikh massacre that followed the assassination of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. It was on this taboo topic that the film Amu was made. Although the films remains majorly unknown, it was one really bold attempt to capture the chaos of the grievous episodeHaiderIt is no news that Kashmir is one delicate topic that people in power do not want filmmakers to mess around with. Thus, trouble was on cards when Vishal Bharadwaj wanted his adaptation of Hamlet to play out in the backdrop of violence and political chaos-ridden Kashmir. If that was not enough, the film also slightly touched upon the taboo topic of the Oedipal complex which is explosive, to say the least. The cinematic brilliance of the maker and the finesse of actors Tabu and Shahid shines through scenes where the sexual tension between a mother and son is played out in the most nuanced way.Black FridayTrust Anurag Kashyap to deliver a knockout punch of a film about a sensitive issue like Mumbai bomb blasts. If you thought lip locks and steamy sex scenes make a film bold, let this gritty and raw portrayal of events that actually transpired during this unfortunate incident, change your definition of bold forever.

The decade of the 90s brought some of the most iconic films to be ever made in Bollywood.
