India is one of the most film crazy nations in the world. The country is home to successful film industries like Bollywood, Kollywood, Mollywood etc. and almost every state has its own film industry. Some of the film industries are continuously flourishing like Bollywood and industries from the South. With multiplexes opening in far corners of India, more and more films are able to reach to the audiences.Almost all the genres of films are loved in India be it romance, action, thriller, drama or sex-comedies. But if it is one genre which has its own set of fans and probably delivers some great films is the violent genre. Now, not glorifying violence in any way, these films are full of blood, gore, bullets, fight scenes, cuss words and are deemed too violent for general audiences. They are passed with numerous cuts and get the 'A' certificate from the censor board. Still, these films have a huge fan following and some of the best Hollywood and Bollywood films have been highly violent. They have featured some of the biggest stars of both the industries, have been made by great directors and earned a lot of money at the box-office. Here are 8 extremely violent films that were loved in India:Ghajini:The AR Murugadoss directorial was a revenge thriller full of violent scenes, bloodshed and hand to hand combat. A lot of people complained about the violence but the film went on to earn over 100 Crores in India.Gangs of Wasseypur:Anurag Kashyap's gangster saga received rave reviews worldwide and a standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival. The film was perceived as too violent and was given 'A' certificate. The amount of body count and gun-fights in the film is too much for a general audience.Go Goa Gone:The Saif Ali Khan starrer was India's first zombie comedy and contained a generous amount of cuss words, blood & gore and headshots.Rakhta Charitra:The Ram Gopal Varma directed gangster drama received highly positive reviews but the violence made it easy for many viewers to watch the film.Satya:Ram Gopal Varma's masterpiece is a violent gangster drama which unfolds in the streets of Mumbai during Monsoon. The film received an 'A' certificate because of violence and bloodshed.Sin City:The neo-noir crime thriller based on the comic book of the same name was directed by Frank Miller and Roberto Rodriguez. The film contained an overwhelming amount of violent and disturbing scenes but is considered a cult classic.Kill Bill:From Quentin Tarantino, the Kill Bill saga is the ultimate revenge story where Uma Thurman's bride fights against assassins and other criminals. The film is not for everyone and contains close shots of people being killed, chopped with swords etc.Deadpool:The Ryan Reynolds starrer was in development hell for a long time as the studio did not want an R-rated superhero film. But, Deadpool Comics are full of cuss words, violence, sex and deal with numerous controversial topics and the film made sure that all of Deadpool's antics were covered. The film became the highest grossing R rated superhero film ever.Pulp Fiction:Often considered as one of the greatest films ever made, this Tarantino saga takes a couple of stories taking place in Los Angeles and they often meet at different times. The film includes numerous iconic fight scenes and the amount of abuse and violence in the film is too much for any person.Django Unchained:Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained had Jamie Foxx and Leonardo DiCaprio in lead roles. The wedding happened just a few hours and the union will be groundbreaking in so many ways. As the Royal celebrations have already kickstarted to welcome the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, let us have a look at all the things that happened for the first time during Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding:1. She is the first Duchess who is of the mixed raceMeghan Markle is a woman of the mixed race and she has had a very humble start. She was from a neighbourhood that is not unknown to gangs and crimes. She is the first member of the royal family to belong to the mixed race.2. She was a CatholicThe Royal family of England are Protestants and Queen Elizabeth heads the Protestant Church of England. Thanks to the law passed in 2015, Meghan Markle's Catholic background did not matter in her wedding.3. She is the first Duchess to be from America.Meghan Markle was born and brought up in California and she is the first member of the royal family who is from America!4. She was not accompanied by her fatherThe bride not being accompanied by her father during the royal wedding has happened before in the family, but it was because the father of the bride had passed away. This was the first time that the bride did not walk the aisle with her father, even though he is alive. It is because Meghan's father suffered a stroke a few years back and is unwell. The only member of her family who attended the wedding was her mother.5. This was Meghan's second marriageWell, the good thing is this is not the first time that someone from the royal family married a woman who was already married before. But earlier when it happened, there was a huge hue and cry about it and Duke Edward had to give up his position. This time thankfully, the entire wedding happened smoothly.

Nawazuddin Siddiquiis one of the finest actors working in the industry today. With the sheer amount of talent he possesses, he ranks far ahead of some big Bollywood stars and has an unparalleled fan following amongst the art-house cinema and commercial cinema fans. He is also one of the busiest actors ever as he is juggling between big-budget films, indies, shorts and web series. The actor turns 44 today and was born in Budhana, Uttar Pradesh and is the eldest of 8 siblings. He did his Bachelors in Chemistry and worked as a Chemist in Gujarat before coming to Delhi where he was instantly drawn towards acting after watching a play. He graduated from the prestigious National School of Drama and from there on started his long struggle with Bollywood.Slow StartThe actor graduated from the NSD in 1996 and moved to Mumbai in hopes of making it big in the industry. He appeared in a small role in Aamir Khan's Sarfarosh and followed this with similar kind of roles in films like Shool, Jungle, and Munnabhai MBBS. It was getting difficult for the actor to secure prominent roles because of his looks and wasn't even to secure spots in TV serials.SurvivingHe couldn't go back to his village as he turning back was not an option for him. He had chosen this profession for him because he believed that he could excel here but innumerable rejections were not helping his case. By his own words, 2004 was probably one of the hardest years for him as he couldn't afford to pay rent and stayed with a senior in exchange for cooking meals from him.BreakthroughHe appeared inAnurag Kashyap's Dev D and then in 2010's Peepli live in which his role as a journalist brought him widespread recognition and rave reviews. He then appeared in Patang: The Kite andMiss Lovelyboth of which premiered at International Film Festivals in 2012 and he received positive reviews for his performances. He scored a role as a short-tempered intelligence officer in Sujoy Ghosh'sKahaaniand as Faisal Khan in Anurag Kashyap's gangster sagaGangs of Wasseypur.Mainstream recognition in IndiaHis successful outings in Kahaani and Gangs of Wasseypur, Talaash catapulted him into the big leagues. Everyone was now aware of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and the unlimited talent he possessed. No longer, he was the guy who pickpocketed in Munnabhai MBBS. He started getting lead roles and changed the way how actors were looked at in the movies. His supporting turn inThe Lunchboxand as the lead antagonist in blockbusterKickcemented his popularity.Continued SuccessNow a certified great actor, he is starring opposite the big guns and holding his own in all the films. He is also starring in acclaimed short films like Carbon and will soon be debuting in web series with Netflix's Sacred Games and Amazon Prime's MacMafia. He is set to appear as Bal Thackeray in his biopic Thackeray and will portray legendary poet Manto. He had a great 2017 as he starred opposite legends like Sridevi and Shah Rukh Khan.Balancing ActNawaz is one of those rare breeds of actors who can effortlessly slip into any role. Be it the role of a journalist, a psychopath, a killer, a common man or an underworld don, Nawaz manages to breathe life into these characters. He selects the projects which have more content in them rather than going after money and almost all of his projects have been received positively. We have to thank our stars that an actor like Nawazuddin Siddiqui exists today and is leading from the front.

Dear Kangana,Let me just start this letter by stating how much over the years we have applauded your personality. I would be lying if I say I have always agreed with your statements. Whether it is your comments about nepotism, your stormy relationships or about Bollywood’s glorification of harassment, there are times I have had a different stand on the things you so passionately and honestly spoke up about. But I kept up the spirit of what Voltaire said, ‘I might not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to say it’. Yes, I on occasions did not agree with you, but the fact that the things that were never spoken even behind closed doors became a national discourse because you dared to speak up against them, is one credit that no one can snatch away from you.I have seen you openly talking about men using their gender privileges and the biggies of Bollywood looking down upon people just because they did not have a Khan or Kapoor next to their names. It was refreshing to see a voice in Bollywood that was so full of clarity and opinions. To be very honest, I do not share your views on feminism, but the fact that you identify yourself as one is a welcoming change in a sea of people in Bollywood who run away from the dreaded F-word.The fact that even after not being a blind devotee of your’s , I found it in myself to respect your notions and ideas speak volumes on what an impact you have had on the masses and even the people who do not necessarily adore whatever you do!But seeing you cracking up at the crass joke made by Jim Sarbh is just a haunting disappointment that I can hardly get over. I realize its futile to argue with a person who thinks saying ‘ I would rather let 12 prostitutes rape me before touching alcohol’ is funny and that’s why I would not wish to air my opinion on this comment made by Jim Sarbh, though its equally shattering to hear this from a person who came across as such a refined artist. But you standing there beside him and laughing at this abominable statement is just the highest degree of disappointment. Were you not one of the strongest voice of reason whenSalman made an equally distasteful joke about rape? Were you not one of the strongest voice in Bollywood that roared against pay disparity? Were you not one of the most significant voice against Bollywood using women as sex objects in films? You can claim it was taken out of context and whatever you want to claim, but your action just undid whatever image of champion of female rights people had of you. The fact that it was said in a party where there was no audience present makes it even more impactful, given it pushes forward the notion that your sensitivities are different in private and public. You can be whoever you want to be in public and private, that’s your discretion entirely, but this confuses us! How do we call it anything buthypocrisy? No, I do not want to say that you used feminist propaganda as a method of promoting the slew ofwoman-oriented filmsthat you were doing, but with a heavy heart, I have to accept that at this point it is difficult to think of it in any other way!As somebody who has had a humble upbringing, you would definitely understand what privileges and the lack thereof mean to people. Whether you accept it or not, it’s a fact that you are a privileged individual owing to your star status in Bollywood, thus understand one thing, every time you play the feminist card and get away with something and then laugh at distasteful rape jokes in a private party, there is an admirer of your’s and a true feminist at heart who gets ridiculed because she once defended you, and not all them have all of them enjoy the privileges you do.Looking at the present scenario I truly have more respect for actresses who never understood the word feminism and dreaded calling them one. Yes, my queen, that’s how disappointed I am!-Your’s SincerelyA disappointed fellow feminist

Salman KhanandJacqueline Fernandezare burning up the dance floor together in the first songHeeriyefromRace 3. A peppy fast-paced number will sure a club hit in no time, but Salman’s dance moves andJacqueline’s pole dancingis to watch out for. There’s no doubt that Jacqueline can guarantee a hit dance number in any movie, but her reunion on the dance floor with Salman Khan afterJumme Ki Raatfrom Kick simply, much sexier in Heeriye in Race 3.The song opens with a sequence of Jacqueline pole dancing but sadly that’s all there is off it in the video. The actress is seeing flipping her hair a lot and looking oh so sexy, but we expected to see more of her moves in the song.Salman being Salman can just be seen having fun on the dance floor and that certain bring the song from the edge of being an out an out item number. The actor even tried out Amitabh Bachchan’s signature move in the song.Heeriye is shot in a club and will surely remind you of other club songs from the previous Race movies like, Laat Lag Gayi which also starred Jacqueline and also Katrina Kaif’s Zara Zara Touch Me, based on the settings. The song has certainly built a positive buzz and has also built much anticipation around what to expect from the Race 3 music album. Race releases this Eid on 29 June 2018 and has been directed by Remo D’souza.
