The idiot box brings to its audiences so many fashion tips through so many daily soaps that they are bound to set a trend among the viewers. Different styles of sarees or bindis, suits or jewellery from the serials, is what ladies go around the market asking for. Long Mangalsutras with choker
Yeah! You read that right. Prerna, of the very famous Kasautii Zindagii Kay brought this style of wearing long Mangalsutras, starting from the neck and ending at the waist. (Yes,that long!) And clubbing that up with a choker was a trend that was followed religiously by the married Indian ladies all over the world and as a resultant; every household had a prerna during the 2000’s.

Long Bindi style
The main thing which beautifies an Indian woman and gives her the identity of a true Bhartiya-Nari is when her forehead gets glorified by a Bindi. It is not any other form of make-up but an important part of it which can make a woman look beautiful or cunning, depending upon its different shapes and sizes. So, this was the time when Ramola Sikand, of Kahiin Kisi Roz, brought the very trend of wearing a bindi in different styles, ranging from snake design to using more than one bindi at a time.

Hara, nila, laal, peela; bright saree mujhe dila :P Okay, so jokes apart, sarees colored bright yellow, green, blue were in rage when Parvati of Kahaani Ghar Ghar ki wore these and every lady glued to the television set watching her would imagine herself in that same attire and hum Kahaani ghar ghar ki, kahaani har ghar ki. Whereas, it wasn’t only the saree that got hyped but also the bun style with middle partition along with hands full with bangles had also started.
