Shah Rukh Khan might be the king of Bollywood, but at home and in his life it is Gauri Khan who is the queen presiding over everything. The palace of this king and queen, Mannat, has become somewhat of a tourist attraction in Mumbai and the Shah Rukh’s iconic image of waving to the fans from the balcony have further made this bungalow all the more fascinating.
However, apart from a few fortunate ones who are allowed in Mannat, we do not know what the royal abode of King Khan looks like. Sure, we have seen glimpses here and there in photoshoots and interviews, but it is for the first time that the extremely private and elusive Gauri Khan has opened the doors to her house for Vogue India. A celebrated interior designer by profession, it is really Gauri’s style and persona that is reflected in the décor of Mannat. Check out the pictures as the queen of Mannat guides you through her abode.
