Anupam Kher Uses Shah Rukh Khan’s Phrase, ‘Main Hoon Na’, In His American Series New Amsterdam, Writes A Heartfelt Note!

Remember the time when Shah Rukh Khan gifted fans with ‘Main Hoon Na’? Not only did it mark farah Khan’s debut as a director, but the phrase became so popular that almost everyone would use it to assure their friends and near and dear ones. Well, looks like not just the aam janta, but celebs too are fond of this phrase.

We say so because Anupam Kher has shown his llove for the phrase. The actor is currently a part of the Amrican TV series, New Amsterdam, where he plays Dr. Vijay Kapoor who is the Head of the Neurological Department. In a short clip shared by the actor on Twitter, we can see him use the phrase, ‘Main Hoon Na’. In fact, Anupam Kher also wrote a heartfelt caption with the clip. He wrote,

Dearest @iamsrk!! Here is my tribute to an expression used & made famous by you in our Hindi cinema. I was delighted to use #MaiHoonNa in my American series @NBCNewAmsterdam!! It is always a joy to bring in a little bit of India in my work on this side of the world. Love you!
