It is known to all Hindi film fans that Arth is soon going to be remade. The film had been a classic and the news of it being remade had made many miffed. But, some are also looking forward to see how the makers would treat the subject to please the sensibilities of the audiences of today. Amidst all this, now we are getting to hear that the male lead seems to have been finalised and it is none other than Bobby Deol.

A report in Pinkvilla mentions that Bobby Deol has been roped in to play the male lead of the film. In fact, producer Sharat Chandra himself confirmed it. But, Bobby is yet to sign the dotted lines. Chandra said, "Yes, the supremely talented Bobby Deol will reprise Kulbhushan Kharbanda Ji's role in the Arth remake. We are in the final stage of discussions with him.”

We wonder who would be cast opposite the actor. Looks like the casting for the actresses is still underway. Bobby Deol has quite a covetable line up already! He would be seen in films like Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal, Apne 2 alongside Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Karan Deol, and Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies backed Love Hostel.
