Dhamaka: Has The Kartik Aaryan Starrer Been Acquired By Netflix For Rs. 85 Crores? Here's What We Know

Kartik Aaryan's films might have been delayed for now, but he still has Dhamaka up for release. The film would hit the webspace directly, but fans would still be getting the treat to watch him on the screens. Now, we hear that the film has been sold for a whopping amount.

It is now being said that OTT giant Netflix has acquired the film. The OTT platform has apparently paid a whopping Rs. 85 crores. A source told Pinkvilla, “Dhamaka is one of the most awaited films of Kartik Aaryan in 2021 and the makers are looking forward to unveiling it as soon as possible. As of now the tentative release date for Dhamaka is said to be June. Final paperwork between the production house and the OTT giant is expected to be done in a few days.”

Directed by Ram Madhvani, the would be the official adaptation of the Korean film, Terror Live. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur, who will play the female lead. We really hope that the film does get to release in June, so that we get to see it as soon as possible. Earlier, rumours had been doing the rounds that Kartik Aaryan has been paid an extra Rs. 7 crores for the film's OTT release, but it turned out to be false.
