Dostana 2: With UK Schedule Of Kartik Aaryan-Janhvi Kapoor Starrer Deferred Indefinitely, Makers Are Looking For New Location

Kartik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya Lalwani starrer Dostana 2 had been announced way back, in 2019, but fans and audiences are still waiting for the film to release. The shoot would have been completed, had the pandemic not hit. And it is due to the new strain of COVID-19 and the lockdown in the UK that the film's schedule there has now been indefinitely deferred. Under such circumstances, the makers are now looking for a new location.

Talking to Mid Day, a source said, “Shooting in the UK looks difficult in the near future. So, the producers and director Collin D’Cunha are exploring whether they can change the location altogether. While Janhvi is currently filming Good Luck Jerry, Kartik is prepping for his next. The final call on the next schedule of Dostana 2 will be taken by the month-end.”

Dharma Productions has not commented on the matter, but we hope that the shoot resumes soon and we get to see the film as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor were spotted holidaying in Goa and the pictures had sent netizens into a tizzy, making them wonder if the duo is dating! We certainly can't wait to see the film on the big screens.
