Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently had a meeting with several Bollywood filmmakers and actors. This meeting was described as a ‘positive sign for the Hindi film industry’. Well, the CM also had a one-on-one discussion with Bollywood’s Khiladi Akshay Kumar in reference to his upcoming film Ram Setu. The actor had announced the film, directed by Abhishek Sharma, on the auspicious occasion of Diwali. Well, latest buzz suggests that Akshay got permission from the CM to shoot his film in Ayodhya.

In a report shared by Mumbai Mirror, a source close to the development revealed, “Set in today's India, it's the journey of the protagonist to discover if the Ram Setu is a myth or reality. Since Akshay and his director, Abhishek Sharma, want to present an accurate depiction, they want to shoot in real locations in the state, including Ayodhya, the birth place of Lord Ram. They want to kick off the film by mid-2021 in UP.”
This Deepawali, let us endeavor to keep alive the ideals of Ram in the consciousness of all Bharatiyas by building a bridge(setu) that will connect generations to come.
