Shahid Kapoor Talks About Sexting With Wife Mira Rajput And Attending The Wedding Of His Ex Priyanka Chopra

Shahid Kapoor might be the ideal family man now, but he has had quite the colorful time in Bollywood. His list of exes include names like Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor and even after marriage he made headlines when wife Mira talked about him being a control freak in bed on Karan Johar’s show.

Recently, Shahid appeared on Neha Dhupia’s chat show and followed was a super candid chat where he talked about his exes, sexting and more.

Talking about his exes, Shahid recalled how ex-girlfriend Priyanka Chopra invited him for her marriage reception in Mumbai when she tied the knot with Nick Jonas. When asked about Kareena’s wedding in 2012, Shahid replied, “About Kareena, I don’t remember, it was a while ago. I don’t think I was invited.”

Neha also asked him to pick out of his two Padmaavat co-stars and Shahid, of course, Deepika Padukone. He said, “I guess that’s because she and I needed to connect for our respective characters. I think I shared more with her because of that than I did with Ranveer.” Shahid and Ranveer Singh have had some cold vibes between them during the shoot of Padmaavat which was evident during the promotions of the film as well.

Neha then moved on to some naughtier question and asked Shahid, between him and wife Mira Rajput, who is better at sexting. A somewhat bashful Shahid replied, “Equal hi hai, give and take hota hai. We are husband and wife so too much sexting is not really required." When probed further he admitted that he is a little bit better in the sexting department than wife Mira.

The conversation also veered towards his upcoming release Kabir Singh that is going to hit the theatres on 21^st June. When asked about why he chose to do the film, Shahid replied, “I usually don’t watch too many films in Telugu and it surprised me with its tonality, rawness, simplicity and the fact that it was so real and believable. The character is very fascinating for me as an actor because the emotional arc... is very original. I loved it and Vijay Deverakonda, who played Arjun, did it so well.”
