For the past few days, Kangana Ranaut has been grabbing headlines and it's not because of the best of reasons. The Manikarnika actress had made some very unpleasant comments about the ongoing Farmer's protest. In fact, she spread misinformation as well, and even though she deleted the post later, the damage had been done. She has received flak from members of the film industry as well. Now, Swara Bhasker, on whom Kangana had earlier taken a dig as well, has spoken up about her colleague.

Talking to Bollywood Hungama, she said that Kangana has now 'become synonymous with spewing poisonous fiction, most of what she tweets, whether about history or current affairs are fiction cooked up and driven by a particular agenda.' She is also aghast at how she talks about elders on her social media. Swara said, “The thing that bothers me is her utter disrespect for the elderly. Her comments on Jaya Bachchanji and other senior actresses were not just distasteful it was utterly disrespectful and badtameez. She has spread slander against Bilkis Bano and Shaheen Baugh Dadis and what she said about Mahinder Kaur ji was also not just inaccurate lies but to say about an elderly farmer that she is ‘available for 100 Rupees.’ It’s just sickening! Totally unacceptable.”

The Veere Ki Wedding actress also lauded Dijit Dosanjh for standing up to Kangana and replying to her! She added, “Kudos to Diljit for calling her out and not letting the issue slide. Taapsee Pannu, Richa Chadha and I have called her out in the past and it’s good to see a star of Diljit’s stature take a stand for this cause.”
