Baaghi 2: 'Mundiyaan' might be the next ‘Kaala Chasma’

The new song from Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 2 released today and it looks like a fun foot tapping dance number, that has probabilities of becoming the sangeet ceremeony and baraat staple of the year. The number is probably a promotional song as it does not look like a part of the film, but is adding the much needed fun and spice factor in the otherwise high octane action film. Here is what we think about it.

The film is a sequel to the 2016 film Baaghi which also had Tiger Shroff in the lead, and is being released on 30th March 2018. Baghi 2 is starring Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani is being directed by Ahmed Khan.

The 90s Nostalgia
The song, much like so many other songs in the recent past, is a reprised version of the 90s chartbuster ‘Mundiyaan Tu Bach Ke Rahi’ by Labh Janjhua. The new version has kept most of the original track intact and just tweaked it a little here and there. The song has been sung by Navraj Hans and Palak Munchal, while the music has been re-created by Sandeep Shirodkar and Ginny Diwan has penned the additional lyrics.

Tiger Shroffs’ Moves
We know it is hard to choose between Tiger Shroff doing action or Tiger Shroff dropping his killer moves. After the intensely action packed trailer, the song show Tiger dancing like a dream like he always does. Just like the music, the western beats coupled with some desi swagger, Tiger’s hip bhangra is on point in the song.

Disha Patani Dancing
Actress Disha Patani is also being seen shaking a leg with Tiger Shroff in the song and boy does she look gorgeous. This is the first time we will be seeing Disha dancing on screen with Tiger, and going by the looks of it, she does not disappoint at all.

Playful Chemistry
Although the trailer looked super intense and action packed, the chemistry of the leads in the song looks more playful than romantic. The lyrics, the beats and the general atmosphere is also totally in sync with the playful mood being created by the song.
