Dimple Kapadia has to leave town and needs to ensure that her gold fish and money plant are taken care of. After too much of thinking, she decides to handover the house to her niece. What follows is a series of hilarious events where the house changes a dozen ownerships.

“Apart from Dimple Kapadia, there is hardly anything to offer in What the Fish. A dull comedy with half-baked execution. Skip it.”

When I saw the promo, the actors & the concept, I thought this one might be atleast good timepass. The track Babbe Mast was also decent, but I was skeptical while walking in today morning at 9am. Alas, I shouldn't have as I came out bored, irritated & just very blah!

Dimple Kapadia is an OCD woman who loves only her fish & her money plant. She leaves both in the hands of her trusted niece who in turn leaves it to her Fiance. From there begins a mad journey where the house is brought down, parties, boxers, mujra dancers & more. Its a madcap journey as the fish Mishti dies, house is torn apart & a lot of madness ensues.

Of the starcast only Dimple Kapadia shines & unfortunately, you dont get enough of her. The supporting cast might have good actors, but they dont quite pack a punch.

All in all, this could be a fun ride if it was a 30 min epidsode on a TV show but not a full blown film. The director Gurmmeet Singh fails yet again after Warning. A disappointing venture that can definitely be skipped. Lot of potential but no outcome.
