Verdict - Worth your money thriller !

    A GentlemanWatch trailerRelease date : August 25, 2017

Raj and DK made a movie called 99 long time back. It had sufficient twists and turns and was a happy ending story. Most movie lovers at that point in time liked it. Then somewhere the director duo lost their touch.

They come back into reckoning with A Gentleman . The movie has sufficient twists and turn which will keep you engrossed , till the time you don't raise your expectations. The twist that comes at the interval , in case you are not aware of it given the oversmart ones on SM who have revealed this part of the movie already, is good enough.

The chemistry between Jacqueline and Sidharth is good enough , if not of the Veer-Zara depth it at least keeps you entertained.

The characters in the movie are warm and real, sure you might not remember them after a week of the movie but till the point you are watching the movie it is worth it.

The best part of the movie is it remains focused on its plot point and keeps moving at a pace where you do not feel bored.

The visuals and action scenes are very well executed and sometimes make you ignore the potholes in the story - there are not many I tell you. After watching so many big entertainment promise duds from Bollywood , let me tell you A Gentleman is one hell of a pleasant surprise.

Sidharth Malhotra , for all the ridicule critics put him to for his acting skills, does a good effort both as Gaurav and Rishi. Sunil Shetty in a brief role proves that he has not lost even an ounce of his screen presence. One wishes he got more screen time but probably that was an intelligent plot strategy for the director duo.

Darshan Kumar as the chief right hand baddie is the stand out performance in this movie. Also Jignesh bhai is comic enough though his effort in 99 from the same director duo is good enough.

A Gentleman is good enough should you decide to watch it , you won't regret watching it when you compare it with the high hype duds bollywood gave us so far in 2017.
