Who said girls can't be equal to a man or girls are inferior to men? We have been seeing huge changeover with girls transpiring almost in all fields no matter how hard the trial is. This has been grabbed very sensually by Nitesh Tiwari's 'Dangal'.
Indeed it was a promising role for all who acted in the movie, especially for Fatima Sana Shaikh as a robust Geeta Phogat who had to fall prey to the "Real" outside world when she leaves for National Sports Academy to get trained for Commonwealth Games in wrestling. But then it did not take much time for her to realize her real worth and the fighting strategy that her father (Aamir Khan) adopted way back in the village.
Here, we really had to thank Nitesh Tiwari for bringing out the most ancient game and oldest sports in the world into the limelight. How many of us would have had the chance to witness such sports in live and the lives of the wrestlers behind the scenes. It's indeed true; every sportsman is grown as a warrior in real life.
Aamir khan has again proved to be a versatile actor of Indian cinema, who has done his full justice to the role as Mahavir Singh Phogat. A strict yet endearing father, who knows how to make his girls best in the field that he had chosen for them at the same time, he doesn't want to break down before them when his Daughter wins the medal.
Not to forget Sakshi Tanwar as Daya Shobha Kaur, even being a stereotypical mother who wanted her daughters to lead their life just like other girls could not stop Mahavir singh Phogat from achieving his dreams. And, the tete-a-tete treat from time to time we get from Aparshakti Khurana as Omakar also need to be appreciated.
Last but not the least, the soundtrack has given major thrills while watching the movie.
So, if you are planning to spend your weekend evening this movie is worth the watch.
